Cedar Lake Cellars, a year-round winery and event venue, will host a weekend long Valentine’s Day celebration on Fri., Feb. 9 and Sat., Feb. 10 with reserved seating times at 5:30 and 8 p.m. A Valentine’s Day Sunday brunch will be held Sun., Feb. 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with open seating. Cedar Lake Cellars is located at 11008 Schreckengast Rd. in Wright City, Mo. and is open to those 21 years of age and older.
Entertainment includes the romantic comedy movie “Crazy Stupid Love” on Fri., Feb. 9 beginning at 8 p.m. in The Barrel Room. A “Cupids & Cocktails” dance party with music provided by a disc jockey will be on Sat., Feb. 10 from 6 to 10 p.m. Richie Kihlken (soul, funk, rock and pop) will play in the winery on both Fri. and Sat. from 5 to 9 p.m.
The four course dinner menu includes a cheese and sausage plate for two plus the choice of either a house salad or French onion soup. Entrée selections include a prosciutto-wrapped roasted red pepper and mozzarella stuffed chicken with a side of truffle mashed potatoes; herb encrusted prime rib with a side of fingerling potatoes, or; honey garlic glazed salmon with a side of grilled portobello mushroom in creamy pesto and parmesan sauce. Dessert for two is either a chocolate covered strawberry cheesecake or brownie ala mode.
The brunch menu includes assorted breakfast and lunch items, made-to-order omelets, and a carving station.
Reservations are required for Valentine’s Day restaurant dining, which is $150 per couple (excluding tax and gratuity) and includes a bottle of Cedar Lake Cellars wine. Available upgrades include wine selection, flowers and chocolates for your loved one. Brunch is $28 per person.
